MUSTANG DEVELOPMENT:JAC’s philosophy is to recapture the World War II aerospace era of innovation where the art of the possible was limited only by the imagination of pioneers who recognized few limits. In the 1940s aircraft were designed, built and fielded in months, new operational concepts were chartered with swift application and every aerospace boundary challenged. The Famous P-51 Mustang was the hallmark example from this boom of aeronautical achievement. From contract signing to ready to fly was only 102 days. Arguably the best aircraft of the Second World War went from contract signature to ready to fly in 102 days!  Albeit motivated by war time urgency, this was still accomplished without computers, e-mails, faxes, video teleconferencing or even rapid airline travel!  Today the Aerospace Industry is stalled for new horizons and takes decades to forward concepts that are themselves mainly rehashed old ideas. JAC charts a new course following “Mustang Development” as its credo, energizing innovation into new aerospace realities.
